Danielle Tod

Danielle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, Anthropology and German from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and a Master of Arts in Sociolinguistics from the University of Bern in 2017. Since then, she has worked as an assistant in Modern English Linguistics and is currently working as a doctoral candidate on an SNF funded project on the status and development of English in the Kingdom of Tonga. Her research interests lie in sociolinguistics and include English dialectology, language variation and change, language contact and language policy and planning.
