Dr. Danielle Tod

Danielle Tod is a sociolinguist whose research focuses on language variation and change, World Englishes, language attitudes and ideologies, and language contact and mobility. She completed her MA in Sociolinguistics and PhD in Modern English Linguistics at the University of Bern, where she subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher and as Study Coordinator for the Center for the Study of Language and Society (CSLS). Her current research examines dialect change among New Zealanders in London, including the impact of social network, language attitudes, and personality on dialect change.
